The Center For Holocaust Studies

In May of 1979 the first Center for Holocaust Studies opened in the state of New Jersey on the campus of Brookdale Community College. Since then, the Center has grown immensely, as now it includes many programs and services throughout the year for the students and the community. This includes, speakers, film series, book clubs, curriculum support materials and more for people to learn, remember and recognize those horrible years of human society towards Jewish people.

Mr. Schoor has been a member of the Israel Bonds National Campaign Cabinet and was an Honoree in 2003 at their Bonds Dinner, where he was awarded the “Israel Peace Medal”.
